Frederick William Gay

Born 6th February 1894

Youngest son of Frederick and Emily Gay 37 High Street, Midsomer Norton

He had three brothers and two sisters who survived infancy

Died 25th September 1915 aged 22

Buried at sea and remembered on the Helles Memorial, Gallipoli

Herbert George Holpin

Born 1894 and registered in Thornbury registration district

Son of Charles and Sarah Holpin, of Brinkmarsh Farm, Falfield, Glos.

In 1911 Herbert was in Falfield and it not clear what his connection with either Midsomer Norton or the Church is. His name is also on Falfield village's War Memorial. There is no reference to his death in The Somerset Guardian &  Radstock Observer but his name also appears on the town war memorial

Frank (Francis) Hutchinson

Born 1889 in

Son of Rev Arthur Elward Hutchinson, Minister at Midsomer Norton 1916 to 1919 and Mrs Emily Hutchinson.

The nature of Rev Hutchinson's calling has made it difficult to trace this family but Frank had at least one sister and brother. He was born in Thirsk, Yorkshire.

He married Winifred Woodcock in Birmingham in 1912 and his son, Edward, was born in Bristol in 1914
